Country Support Briefs

Since its founding in 2020, the Joint Hub has worked with 19 country operations worldwide, representing 45 percent of operations with WFP and UNHCR joint presence. In the past five years, the Joint Hub:

• • Supported 13 countries in transitioning from status-based to needs-based assistance, ensuring aid prioritization for the most vulnerable when resources are limited.
  • Deployed in-country surge technical and coordination capacity to 7 countries and provided operational budgets for joint activities in 5 operations.
  • Facilitated 20 joint assessments and analyses.
  • Supported joint appeals and feedback mechanisms in 7 countries.
